Accessibility

GROUNDWORK should be usable by everyone who runs a business or pays an invoice — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That commitment covers the marketing site, the app itself, and the public invoice pages your clients use to view and pay invoices.

What we do

• Color pairs used for text are checked against WCAG contrast minimums automatically on every code change.
• The interface is operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator throughout.
• Pages carry proper language attributes in both English and Spanish, and client-facing pages offer a language switch.
• Forms label their fields and report errors in ways assistive technology can announce.

Known limitations

Downloaded invoice PDFs are not yet fully tagged for screen readers — the same information is always available on the accessible web version of the invoice. We are working to close remaining gaps.
